Gábor Vörös
-bass-

I was born on the 7th of september, 1965, in Budapest.

Led Zeppelin had a great influence on my music career.

My brother took me to the cinema to see the film entitled ”The song remains the same”, and, in fact, that gave me the first impulse to play music.

In 1980 my first group had been the Steel Rock, which lasted only for a concert.

Afterwards, I have been playing in a lot of other bands, which became hidden under the shadows of anonymity. These were the Erogén, Radar, Nihil and the Telegraf. In 1981 I became the member of the Mahagónia band, which played only Zeppelin. After that, whith the Akció we had also been playing Zeppelin and numbers of our own. In the period of being a member of the Mahagóni, I have also jaoined the group named Satöbbi in 1982. This formation became really successfull after taking part in a competition. I had been playing in this group for 14 years.

Between 1986-88 sweet, calm military years were passig by.

After the army I was first asked to join the Ossian, but I was not brave enough to accept it, but in the spring of 1988 we had a lot of concerts before the Ossian with the Szekeres Tamás Project. After the two months long tour there had been a drummer and bass-guitarer change in the group. Then I was asked for the second time too to join them, so I accepted the offer. The band and me, we became very close friends.

The Ossian lasted until 1994. At the and of 1993, the personal conflicts lead to the dissolution of the band, but the members organised a goodbye concert and created a last disk together.

Afterwards, together with Maróthy Zoli and Tobola Csaba, we had formed a new group, namely the Fahreinheit, in 1994. This group does still exist and work today, but, considering the decline of the rock music at the and of the 90’s, it  suspendit its activity.

The experiences gained while playing in the Fahreinheit and in the Ossian  are investid still in these days,  because in this period my central activity have been the concert-organisation.

In 1997 I became the organizator of the L’Art Pour L’Art company.

From 2000 onwards I am the manager of Keresztes Ildikó and the Quimby band (1991-).

Between 2000 and 2003 I did the full-scale organisation of the Disco Express (1996-).

From the november of 2002 I am a member of the Omen (1990-).

From 2004 I am also the manager of the Hollywood Rose (2003-).

At the beginning of 2005 Vilmányi Gabi asked me if I wanted to play Piramis in the group named Piramix. I was very happy because I have always loved and appreciated the Piramis (1975-).

For me the Cult music is also a BIG favourite, so in the autumn of 2006 I occupied the place of the bass-guitarer.
